Cultured Marble
Marble surfaces are very easy to maintain and with simple care, will retain its
luster and beauty for many years. Simply apply the information listed below.
Routine Cleaning
For routine cleaning, use a mild detergent and a damp sponge. Liquid cleaners
such as Windex may also be used, but
don't use any abrasive cleaners! Once
clean, rinse and dry surface thoroughly. In order to restore the shine of your
marble top, polish with a good automobile wax or gel glass. Never use scouring
pads or powders to clean this product as they will damage the high-gloss surface.
Preventing Damage
Spills of any type should be immediately removed and rinsed with water. Marble
may stain, etch or dull if exposed to liquids (such as wine, vinegar, tea, lemon
juice and soda) or fruits and vegetables for prolonged periods of time. Coasters
should be placed under all glasses, particularly those containing liquors or
citrus juices. Excessively HOT water is not recommended for everyday use, and
DO NOT leave moisture/water under soap dishes, glasses, etc. for long periods
of time, as discoloration may occur.
